Kyoto On Rails, is a collaborative web design project that focused on building a fully coded travel webpage from the ground up using HTML and CSS. I worked as the designer on the team, leading the visual direction by developing the overall layout, selecting and editing images, and creating the project’s branding and logo. The process began with a Figma prototype that was later built out by the developer of the team. We all decided to pick Kyoto, Japan as our travel destination due to our shared travel experience in Kyoto; which we were able to then use our favorite places and also images taken while there.
