This publication design project, Shade, explores the transformation of a digital article into a thoughtfully crafted printed booklet. With a strong focus on micro-typographic details, the design looked at things like hierarchy, ragging, and fluidity while examining how imagery and type work together to enhance the narrative. The result of this is a print booklet that redesigned online content through intentional, tactile design. Throughout the publication, black and white coloring is used to play into the concept of shade and how it should be a necessity for public health in urban design.
